Kitty Pi

Ping's Grandmama made her a Kitty Pi.
The Pi, spotted on Fig & Plum, was much admired and lusted after. Fig & Plum kindly linked to Wendy's Knits for the pattern. One request out to Grandmama (via the little sister who did the felting bit) and bingo, all done.
Ping was all over the Pi the minute it was out of the post bag.
Ping & Pi were taken down to the floor for safer wrestling. Finally, a quite sit and contemplate what a lucky kitten she is.
Ta ma (xxx).

Dear Ping,

What a lovely, clever bunch of peeps you have there - I am SO loving this Pi. It looks comfy and soft and fun.

But I wonder why oh why is it called a Pi?

Lots of love from Aunty CAW xxx

Cos Ping is so yummy scrummy we want to cook her in a pie - but can't. Did make a pie once with little pusscats decorating the top, eaten too fast to take a pic but we called it a kitten pie!
The Pi does look a little like a crust, non? Perhaps Grandmama will make a lid!

LOL! A lid! Yes, that would be a hoot. And perhaps a handle too - so that Princess Ping Pi can be taken for walks by her adoring human slaves?

Altho she would have to sit perfectly still so as not to tumble out of her pi, but I strongly suspect that Sitting Still is not in her kitty vocab!

This Pi is most ingenious :) I am going to suggest it to my friend who has 2 wee Scottish Short Eared muffins. Uber adorable. Tom and Lilly.

I want me a kitty!

Kitty (pour sailing baggage)pattern is all cut out, I've just got to find the purrfect (hehehehe geddit?) fur - all this crafty work is kind of fun, I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed making things/. I guess having to entertain one's self on a budget doesn't completely suck, not all the time anyhoo!

Oh, the knitting granny, my mum, says making Kitty Pi was a pain in the bum and she won't be doing another one. Mr Brown says if it was a pain in the bum she must have been knitting it wrong (tiskkk).
