Ping is bad ...

... She's been racing up and down the house with this sort of look on her face (we call it her "bad hat") for hours and has been monstering poor old small mercilessly.

Then she stole a thawing steak (covered in rosemary for goodness sake).

She's in the laundry now, have a good hard think about her behaviour.

Ping's friend Small

When Ping's friend Small thinks it's time you let her outside she sidles up, sits down and makes a sort of "ermpfft" sound. When you look down, she looks up, the feline - homosapien mind-meld thing happens, you get up and let her outside. Ping hasn't quite got this down pat yet, she's working on it.
