No, really. The big heavy goose down doona is too hot for the humans. Even in winter. But rather than put it away or give it away they've stuffed it into an old cover, folded it in 3 and draped it across the spare room couch. This was for the expressed reason of giving the furry girls a nice warm place to sleep at night. It's worked too well, they rarely leave. They don't come out for lap sitting in the evening or even during the day. The humans aren't needed, the girls have their own doona.
